Filtration is the process of cleaning the air using various filtration devices. An effective way to filter out these particles in the air you breathe is with a high-efficiency air cleaner. These filters are capable of capturing up to 90% of the particles from the air that passes through them.

At its most basic level, an air cleaner filters out the particles that cause irritation, such as pollen, spores, dust and other contaminants. It will also reduce or remove the irritants that can cause and agitate allergies, asthma and other respiratory problems. Unlike portable filtration units that can only solve part of the problem, one room at a time, whole-home filtration systems will work continuously to keep the air clean throughout your home.

Aprilaire® 5000 Electronic Air Cleaner


An Aprilaire 5000 Electronic Air Cleaner captures over 98% of particles down to 1 micron in size. The process kills captured bacteria and spores and permanently traps particles, leaving absolutely no chance of them being released back into the air. It works silently and invisibly, removing particles from your living space so efficiently that there is less dusting needed. Once-a-year service is all that is needed and can easily be completed in less than 20 minutes. Installed as part of your home's heating and cooling system, an Aprilaire 5000 will clean and refresh the air in every room of the house over 4 times per hour. Portable air cleaners just cannot come close. Finally, an Aprilaire 5000 will protect your heating and cooling system from damaging airborne debris to help ensure that your equipment will operate at peak performance and maximum efficiency.

Lennox® PureAir™ Air Purification System


 Lennox® PureAir™ Air Purification System is the only single indoor air quality system to attack all three classes of contaminants: small, breathable particles, airborne mold spores, bacteria and viruses, and odors/chemical vapors. It features a Precision Pleat™ MERV 16, 5" filter that removes over 95% of particles down to 0.3 micron. It will remove over 90% of bioaerosols ranging in size down to 0.01 micron.

The PureAir™ consists of three main components: a MERV 16 filter, two 55-watt UVA lamps, and a metal insert coated with a catalyst that is activated by the ultraviolet light. The PureAir™ Air Purification System carries a 5-year limited warranty on covered components.

Healthy Climate® 16 Media Air Cleaner

The highest-efficiency in-line cartridge media filter, the HC16 will remove a minimum of 95% of circulated dust, mold spores and other particles from 0.3 micron and up. Its features include a metal door with foam insulation and a new 7" SlimLine™ cabinet that allows for installation even in the tightest applications. The HC16 requires no cleaning and no addition power source. The cartridge will slide out for quick and easy replacement and will last up to 1 year.

MERV 16 ratings provide near-perfect filtration performance throughout every room in your home. The HC16 has no ozone emissions which is a known lung irritant. The HC16 carries a 5-year limited warranty on covered components.

Healthy Climate 10 Media Air Cleaner

The HC10 provides whole-home filtration for optimal home comfort and air quality, with no additional energy costs. Equipped with a high-efficiency MERV 10 filter, the HC10 is up to 85% efficient in removing circulated dust, mold spores and other particle from 3 to 10 microns. Its features include a metal door with foam insulation and increased cabinet bonding for the prevention of air leaks. The HC10 installs easily into your ductwork an enhances the air in every room, capturing particles and other allergy-aggravating irritants.

The HC10 has no ozone emissions which is a known lung irritant and carries a 5-year limited warranty on covered components.

Healthy Climate® HEPA Bypass Filtration Systems

High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filtration Systems are 99.97% efficient at removing small particles at 0.3 micron - contaminants that standard filtration systems cannot effectively stop. Particles smaller than 2.5 microns pass through the lungs and into the bloodstream, increasing the likelihood of illness. The HEPA system minimizes your exposure to potentially harmful pollutants.

The system acts like a vacuum, drawing air out of the return duct, cleaning it and then cycling it back into your home. This process happens many times each day to keep your indoor air as clean as possible. The HEPA Filtration Systems carry a 5-year limited warranty on covered components.
